Las Plumas High School Counseling Department
The LPHS Counseling Department is dedicated to helping every Thunderbird S-O-A-R by providing support in academics, college and career readiness, and personal/social growth. Each student is assigned a counselor who remains with them throughout high school, offering consistent guidance and encouragement.
Our work is guided by the OUHSD Portrait of a Graduate, empowering students to grow as critical thinkers who use evidence and creativity to solve problems, reflective community members who show empathy and resilience, and successful contributors who set goals, manage responsibilities, and thrive in college, career, and life.
